Dear HTMLGiant,
I recently contacted the Make-A-Wish Foundation to ask them if they could get you to follow me on Twitter. They failed to respond.
I see that you are following Heather Christle on Twitter. I see that you are following my friend D.W. Lichtenberg. I believe that if I were to ask D.W. how he got you to follow him, he would tell me that he did a lot of @HTMLGianting to get to that magical place in the sun. But I have yet to ask D.W. this directly, because while he too is a Jew who understands shame, we’re just not at that place in our relationship yet.
Consequently, I come to you: woman to Giant. I know you are a busy Giant and I hope you understand.
Also, you should know that if I were to wake up one morning (say, tomorrow) and see a little message in my inbox that says: HTMLGiant is now following you on Twitter, it would be the best thing to happen to me all week. And let me tell you, HTMLGiant, it’s been a bad week. My guinea pig died.
So I thank you for your consideration. I’ll let you get back to discussing literature, gender and R. Kelly now.
